"What a charming and relaxing place--'retreat' is a great and accurate description. We experienced a night with the stars and wondered at the vastness of God's creation. We watched hummingbirds getting their breakfast from the cross vines while we munched the homemade breakfast goodies. The deer on the roadside reminded and forced us to slow down and enjoy a hill country sunset. Thank you for a peaceful, quiet weekend. Truly it was good for body, mind, and soul."
Watch the sunrise from your patio. Slowly sip your fragrant coffee and savor the smells of homemade baked goodies on the Continental breakfast that comes with your room. Dog lovers will especially enjoy meeting our pets, Rudy and Pablo who, although friendly, feel compelled to watch over our place. Meander along our walking paths. Do bring your camera to photograph the wide variety of native birds that inhabit this area of the Texas Hill Country. Enjoy the hummingbirds who feast on our feeders. Our cat, Harry Potter, will make you feel welcome as he often escorts guests around the trails. Our Boar goats are entertaining and friendly, especially the kids. Don't forget to walk down to Sunset Point and sit on the bench to watch the spectacular sunset. The skies in the Willow City area are magical at sunset. Be sure to bring binoculars to see the both the wildlife and the stars. And, if you're into biking, don't forget to bring your bikes because we've got plenty of not frequently traveled roads so you may safely pedal about.
"Thank you so much for one of the most relaxing week-ends we've had in a long time--The stars were beautiful, the peace and tranquility was just what we needed and the muffins were delicious. We enjoyed our 'weekend' so much, were decided to do this every couple of months. Life is hectic, work is hectic and busy and this weekend just reminds us of the beauty and the inner peace one feels being surrounded by nature and what God has created. Thank you for Willow Ridge. It was wonderful."

"We loved the retreat. Enjoyed the breakfast food delivered to our door. Took advantage of the trails around the place. Saw a beautiful sunset Saturday night. The Jacuzzi helped with our aching muscles from golf. The baby goats are so cute. The little brown goat followed us around in the morning. Enjoyed meeting you and getting your recommendations for places to go and things to see. This is beautiful country. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. P.S. Harry Potter was a great trail leader. Give him extra food for his services. He was also a great cuddler."
